Alleyway M-City

Alleyway M-City reimagines the Chinese Hutong into the shop front. The undulating green panels mimic the roof tiles of the Chinese Hutong. Wall shelves with decorations of Chinese antiques is a nod to traditional Chinese culture, while the timber wall panels take inspirations of the wall screens of the Chinese Hutong. All these design elements tie in together to form a cohesive design that not only acknowledges traditional Chinese design elements, but also contemporary in a sense, that fits well into the modern context.
